WordPress + WhatsApp

The WhatsPilot-WordPress integration connects your website to WhatsApp, enabling real-time communication between site visitors and your business. When a visitor fills out a contact form, places an order through WooCommerce, or signs up for a newsletter, their details sync to WhatsPilot automatically — triggering a personalized WhatsApp message. For WooCommerce stores, this means automated order confirmations, shipping updates, and abandoned cart recovery, all through WhatsApp. For service businesses, form submissions from contact pages, quote requests, or booking forms can instantly reach your sales team via WhatsApp. The integration also supports a WhatsApp click-to-chat widget that can be embedded on your WordPress site, giving visitors a direct line to your team. The two-way sync ensures that customer conversations and website activity are always in sync, reducing response time and improving conversion rates.

Set Up the WordPress Integration in 5 Steps

Follow this guide to connect WordPress with WhatsPilot. No coding required.

1

Install the WhatsPilot Plugin

From your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New and search for 'WhatsPilot'. Install and activate the plugin. If you prefer manual installation, download the plugin from your WhatsPilot dashboard and upload it via the WordPress plugin uploader.

2

Connect Your WhatsPilot Account

After activation, go to the new 'WhatsPilot' menu item in your WordPress sidebar. Enter your API key, which you can find in your WhatsPilot dashboard under Settings → API Keys. Click 'Connect' to establish the link between your website and WhatsPilot.

3

Configure WhatsApp Widget

In the plugin settings, customize the WhatsApp click-to-chat button appearance — position (bottom-left or bottom-right), color, text, and greeting message. Choose which pages to display the widget on. Enable or disable mobile visibility. Preview the widget before publishing.

4

Set Up Form Integrations

Connect popular WordPress form plugins like Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, or Gravity Forms. Map form fields (name, phone, email, message) to WhatsPilot contact fields. Configure automated WhatsApp replies to be sent when a form is submitted successfully.
