The WhatsPilot-Google Sheets integration turns your spreadsheets into powerful WhatsApp automation triggers. Every row in a Google Sheet can represent a contact, a campaign, or a message template — and WhatsPilot can act on that data in real time. Add a new row with a customer's name and phone number, and WhatsPilot automatically adds them to a contact list. Update a cell with an order status, and WhatsPilot sends a status update message via WhatsApp. The integration works both ways: incoming WhatsApp conversations can be logged back to a sheet for record-keeping and analysis. This is especially useful for teams that use spreadsheets as lightweight CRMs, campaign trackers, or reporting dashboards. No plugins or middleware required — just connect your Google account and select the sheets you want to sync. Perfect for small businesses and startups that need quick automation without investing in expensive CRM software.
Available on all plans. Starter (₹1,599/mo) includes 1 app integration — Google Sheets counts as one. Professional (₹3,999/mo) includes 3 integrations.

In your WhatsPilot dashboard, navigate to Integrations and click 'Connect' on the Google Sheets card. Sign in with your Google account and grant WhatsPilot permission to read and write to your selected sheets. You can revoke access anytime from your Google account settings.
Choose an existing spreadsheet or create a new one. In the WhatsPilot integration settings, select the specific sheet (tab) within the spreadsheet that will be synced. Define the column headers — WhatsPilot will automatically detect columns for name, phone number, email, and custom fields.
Set whether the sync is one-way (Sheet to WhatsPilot only) or two-way. For one-way, new rows in the sheet automatically add contacts to WhatsPilot. For two-way, WhatsApp conversations and status updates are also written back to the sheet. Choose a sync frequency: real-time, hourly, or daily.
In the Workflows section, create rules triggered by sheet changes. For example: when a new row appears with status 'New Lead', send a welcome message. When a cell in the 'Status' column changes to 'Shipped', send a tracking update. Use dropdown validation in Google Sheets to ensure consistent trigger values.
Add a test row to your Google Sheet and verify that the contact appears in WhatsPilot and the trigger fires correctly. Check the integration log for any errors. If using two-way sync, send a WhatsApp message and confirm it appears as a new row in the sheet.
